What To Bring

- If Merchanting, Merchant Permit & display booth
- Tent & sleeping bag/bedding/pillow or camping vehicle
- Sturdy stakes for tent and tarps
- Tarp or ground cover for under tent
- Extra tarp large enough to cover your tent in the event of heavy rain, and rope to secure it
- White cloth strips or colored tape to mark tent lines for safety
- Wagon/cart for carrying water/firewood to your camp**
- Air mattress to cushion the ground and a tarp for shade**
- Camp table and chairs for food preparation and dining
- Banners and other decorations for your campsite*
- Earphones to silence radios, TVs, etc
- Earplugs (for light sleepers – there may be drumming until quite late)
- Cushion, mat, or lawn chair to sit on during workshops**
- Flashlight and/or lantern plus extra batteries
- Drinking water jug or other water container
- Food and beverages for the gathering (Please pack “green”! and no colored glass other than brown and clear please)***
- Plate, cup, and utensils to dine with***
- Food preparation supplies such as bowls, plates, utensils, cooler, propane stove, hot pads, cutting board, napkins, paper towels, food storage containers, etc.***
- Towels, washcloth, biodegradable soap and shampoo, toiletries
- Allergy and/or prescription medications, if applicable
- Bucket or dishpan for cleanup
- Insect repellant
- Toilet paper
- Trash bags, recycling bags/container for your campsite
- Safe(r) sex supplies (Be prepared even if you don’t intend to play… because you just never know!)
- Cardboard to catch leaks under vehicles, if applicable
- Warm clothing for cool evenings
- Cool clothing for warm days
- Rain gear (ponchos, umbrellas, etc.)
- Hat, sunscreen and other sun protection for your body (yes, even in September!)
- Candle in jar/lantern for processions, extra candles
- Drums, rattles, bells or other musical instruments* (see below)
- A fabulous outfit for the Friday Night Komos*
- Sacred dress, magickal tool for rituals and processions*
- A natural offering to thank the Spirits of Nature*
- Offerings to the Fey for the Faerie Altar*
- Sacred objects for placement on the Community Altar to the Queer Spirit*
- Lots of love, bliss and spirit
Calling All Musicians!
Do you drum or play the flute, the didgeridoo, or another musical instrument? Please consider sharing your talents with us around the bonfire and at the community meetings. Drum and dance circles will be held at BTW on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, assuming there are both drummers and dancers.
